The Foundation has a Board and an Advisory Board. The Board is responsible for the Foundation’s strategy, the selection of projects, governance and financial management. The Advisory Board advises the Board, both solicited and unsolicited, on strategy, programs, expenditures and other matters related to the Foundation’s objectives. Its advice is non-binding.

Board members and Advisory Board members do not receive remuneration for their board functions.

The Board is assisted by an operational director, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the ORTEC Foundation within the framework established by the Board. The operational director is accountable to the Board.
